Ingredients
Crust :
- 200g Graham cracker crumbs
- 100g Melted butter
- 100g Sugar
Cream cheese and honey mixture :
- 750g Cream cheese
- 150g Labonté Clover honey
- 200g Egg
- 15ml Lemon juice
- 5ml Vanilla extract
Method
Crust :
- Mix together graham cracker crumbs and sugar and blend in melted butter.
- Press crumb mixture firmly on bottom or pan.
Cream cheese and honey mixture :
- Soften cream cheese, using a spoon or the whisk from your mixer.
- Add honey.
- Mix in the eggs, one at a time and stir until well blended.
- Add lemon juice and vanilla extract.
- Pour into graham cracker lined pan.
- Bake at 350oF for one hour.
- Allow to cool.
- Put some honey to coat top and sides of cheesecake.
- Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over honey glazing.
For an added touch :
- Serve with honey yogurt sauce.
